Top Five Commonly Used NetWorker Commands:

5. nsrcap
To check that an enabler code is valid and of the right type before
introducing it into a production environment.

4. savegrp
Used the -v (or -vvv) option for debugging or with the -p option to "probe",
establishing communication with the client without actually backing anything up.

3. mminfo
mminfo -m <tape ID> to check whether a tape is in the media index and when
it expires; and something like:
mminfo -r 'volume,client,sumsize,savetime(17),name' -q 'volume=<tapeID>'
to find out what's on a tape

2. nsrjb
As Shawn said, nsrjb -d (deposit) and nsrjb -w (withdraw) are very common,
because of a notable shortcoming in the GUI (the Unix GUI at least; I'm not
sure about the Windows GUI): there's no other way to move tapes in and out
of a library. But I probably use nsrjb -Cv to find out what NetWorker thinks
is in the jukebox even more than those.

... and the Number One Commonly Used NetWorker Command:

1. nsradmin
There are many many ways to use it from the command line, but the most
common may be a generic "client info" string, something like:
echo "show comment;schedule;directive;group;save set\nprint type:nsr
client;name:<clientname>" | nsradmin -i -
