I am seeing these errors appear constantly in my Networker
Administration Monitor when a tape is put in for a backup;

tape_bsf bsf failed: drive status is Media Error, Recorded Entity Not
Found

The backup continues and the data is written to the tape. What does this
error mean? It makes the management nervous and anytime we have a device
disabled this error is nominated as the possible cause.

We are running 7.1.1 and we have 9 storage nodes in a SAN based
environment with HP Ultrium 2 Devices.

Regards, Mark
