Tony,

I Managed to get the partition to see the ADIC ,
the issue was that I had no SCSI devices and this stopped the /dev/lus
device being created.
I attached a SCSI card and CDROM to my LPAR and i can now run inquire
and jbconfig on the ADIC.
My issue was that all of my devices were Fibre attached and i had no
SCSI at all.

Ian.

We have been trying to get our AIX Version 5.3 server to see the ADIC
scalar i2k Jukebox for the past few weeks. At first we could not get
even the Legato inquire command to see anything. After updating AIX to
the latest updates the inquire command sees the two LTO-3 Tape Drives.
It still does not see the ADIC i2k Autochanger. Even tried the Legato
command: changers -dvl
It only sees the two LTO-3 Tape Drives. Both AIX and Legato have been
working on the problem. Any suggestions???

We are running the ADIC scalar i2k with NSR 7.2.172 on AIX 5.1. It took
a while to get everything to talk properly, but once it did, we not had
any major problems. Mark

LTO-2 drives What experience do people have on device drivers and
software to control the autoloader ??
