Never mind, it turns out the DNS entry was not properly created for the
host.  It is now working as expected, with the Removable Storage Service
disabled.

try disabling Remobale Storage Service, on windows 2003 search for TUR (Tape
unit ready) or some like that, we had DataProtector with 2003 and HP
recommends or demand to disable RMS.
