We're working to set up the following:

 

-          Backup data to disk (advanced file type device)

-          Clone the data to tape (for offsite storage)

-          Expire the data on disk after about 2 weeks

-          Keep the data on tape (the clones) for 3 months or longer

 

I remember seeing similar configurations described in past posts.  Does
anyone have a script they would be willing to share to do the expiring
of the data that is kept for only 2 weeks?  In this case, it would be
expiring the original data but keeping the cloned data.
