Hi,

We have faced similar issues in Widnows environment and have recitified them
doing the following -

1. Update /etc/hosts wiht IP, DN & FQDN on the client as well as Networker
Server.
2. In the Alias field of the client resource on the Networker Server, enter
Cleitns IP, DN & FQDN.
3. Restart the Networker services on the Networker Server.

I hope it works on Netware as well.

Regards,
Anuj

Hi Gurus,

I've just upgraded to NetWorker 7.1.3 (64-bit) from 7.1.2 (32-bit) and
our single Novell client (Novell 3.12 with NetWorker client 4.1.3)
started reporting the above error. Apparently Andrew Broad raised a
similar issue in March 2004 and D. Voetelink told him to check out a
posting he'd made the week before. Despite my best efforts I cannot
find this posting in the archives. So, can either of the above named
let me know what the fix was on that occasion or can anyone else shed
light on this for me?

Don't know if this helps or hinders offers of help but, as part of my
attempt to resolve this issue, I stopped and restarted NetWorker on the
Novell client. The savegrp error has now changed to:

09/21/05 11:22:55 savegrp: command 'savefs -s nsr_server -c xxxx -g yyyy

-p -l full -R -v -F BINDERY: ACCS: SYS: ' for client xxxx exited with
return code 9.
* xxxx:BINDERY: Connection refused

and NetWorker Administrator on the client doesn't show any devices,
active sessions etc.

Best Regards,

Vince
