 thanks, thats what I wanted to know. So tape-restores should be faster than 
without backup-to disk. Then let's implement it ;)

Florian,

You are correct, no fragmentation takes place when backup to disk is done. So 
later staging is also without multiplexing as staging is always done with only 
one datastream.
