My assumption is that "auto media managment" is used here as a a generic
description of the process, not as a reference to the "Auto Media
Management" setting on a jukebox or drive.

I've certainly never enabled AMM on my jukes, but have used cross pool
recycling.  

Of course, I've not checked that against 7.x either, so this could have
changed.  I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm saying it didn't use to be that
way.
