Hmmm,  on Unix I would check the messages log for errors to see if the
drive went offline from SAN?   Perhap you can log or record the start/end of
errors on the switch port this is on.   Check the connects and cables.

The only thing I can from your errors is that is went to write 65K or some
large block size and could only write some of it.   The other parts of the
error look similar to some I've seen when a drive drops off the SAN when
writing.
