Re: [Networker] Parallelism???

We seem to have a similar problem here. I've just implemented Disk
Backup and can't seem to stream more then 32 streams to our 1TB SCSI
attatched disk array. Not sure I want to as the box is paging with a
page rate over 4000-5000 at times while the backups are running.
Networker 7.1.1 (Network version)
Sun V440 with 4 1.2GHz UltraSPARC-IIIi CPUS's with 16GB of memory
Solaris 9
GBit ehternet /dev/ce0 (/dev/ce1 not connected)
With disk backup, things are running about 1-2 hours behind what we were
doing streaming to 3 AIT-3 tape drives.
What can I try to make things run faster besides going back to streaming
to tape? Is there another GBit ehternet card that would work better then
the built in /dev/ce0? Like /dev/ge0?
Some Networker settings:
Server //: 32 (can't get it to go higher)
adv_file device Target Sessions :40
Group savegrp //: 16
Thanks!
Paula
