We have several installations with NetWorker 7.1.1 on Windows doing backup
over 2Gb FC to a EMC DL300 Disklibrary. We achive 200MB/sec - 220MB/sec if
the disks of the server are accessed over one FC adapter and the DL300
over another FC Adapter. We started with a blocksize of 96KB for the
virtual tapes and achived 10-30MB/sec. After we changed the blocksize to
512KB(the limit of the emulex FC Adapter) we achive the 200-220MB/sec. The
compression on the DL300 is enabled and we get a load of 50-60% on the
DL300.
