Again, this is based on what the EMC Legato Networker Product Usability
Manger (that's a mouthfull) SAID:
NMC will come standard with Networker in the next release. This will be a
plain vanilla version, with limited reporting. If you want the additional
reporting, you will have to buy an enabler.
For those of you that already paid for Network Operations console, that's
going away, as it is being replaced by NMC. Some people asked how Legato
was going to "fix" that (giving away something that other's paid for), there
was no real answer, other than Legato would "work with them".
Again, since I was not even aware of this product prior to the "Summit", I
can only tell you what I was told.

If you buy a Network or Power Edition NetWorker server, you should get
NMC server LIC-001001
NetWorker Administration Connection
NetWorker Access Control Connection
All for free
This is a marketing bundle, limited to one per customer, and has an
indefinite period on it. It was marketing because the guy I alluded to
before refused to make it a product bundle, so marketing did the job instead
of Product Management. This bundle has been in place since, I think, the
middle of last year, so if you have bought a Network or Power Edition NW
server since then, and didn't get the freebies I'd suggest you contact your
Legato rep and get it!
Note, it is one per customer only, so additional datazone connections have
to be paid for, but that is not too expensive.
