I don't doubt it.   I am using 7.1.3 on these hosts.   

I found this out when I opened a case and the Legato person called me to
tell me this.

Incidentally, the man pages for 7.1.1 do not describe it in the way you
explain - according to them there is still a difference between -u and
-j.
