Hi Rob,

I do have exactly the same problem on one redhat client.
Data backed up on "redhat_1" should be recovered on "red_had 2"
on "redhat_2" I did a
recover -s >legato-server< -c redhat_1 -R redhat_2 -iR

and added one ore some files.
If I try to check the volume I got "unknown" instead of the volume-name.

I found no responds on Your question, did You either get one ore solve it on
Your own?

Kind regards Thorsten Linow

I'm not a networker expert, or for that matter, even know what I'm doing
behind the wheel of this project, but we have some tapes from a clients
networker server that we need to restore. One tape in particular has
data on it we're interested in. I googled and found that I needed to
run "scanner -i" on the tape, however, I'm still seeing odd behavior and
am not sure how to proceed.

It shows up in the volume list in nwadmin already. And if I bring up
nwrecover, I can select files for the client that we need to restore
data from. However, in nwrecover, the needed volumes lists only
"unknown". So when I select some files and start the restore, it's sits
and spins trying to mount "unknown"
-----------------------
Recovering 29 files into their original locations

Volumes needed:
        Unknown
Requesting 29 file(s), this may take a while...
NSR server `ubsps00': Cannot find the volume needed

nwrecover: waiting 30 seconds then retrying
-----------------------

suggestions? Links to a doc to RTFM?

Thanks in advance....
