Ahh... Thanks... that definitely sped it up.  Unfortunately then the
comments field in the groups and clients windows isn't displayed.  I had
a feeling that they were the cause of the slowness.

Nothing like adding a feature(comments field) that is unusable.

If you start nwadmin with the -p paramater (eg. nwadmin -p -s 
servername), that
should help a bit - had the same problem when we upgraded to 7.1.3 GUI
as well
and using -p makes a world of difference! (in our environment anyway..)
