Okay, I can do that. But would I have to delete the drive I defined to recover
the bootstrap before
I move the res folder?
It will effectively be "deleted" when you move your minimal res directory
out of the way, and move the recovered res.R directory into place.
Basically, the steps are
- mmrecov finishes, you now have
/nsr/res
/nsr/res.R
- shut down networker
- switch the res directories:
cd /nsr
mv res res.pre-mmrecov
mv res.R res
- start up NetWorker
- you now have a functioning networker server, but no client indexes.
Recover them as necessary.
