K we use IM in about 4 of our datacenters including LONDON data denter. They are
improving very well. Their securesync website is great so far. One problem i
have is that they have no ability to have a master account and deliver services
to all our datacenters thru that master account. we had to end up having
different accounts for different locations and managing all those accounts and
passwd expiry every 90 days kinda gets me some times.

Hope they come up with some kinda centralization for all the accounts. Other
than that their services are great so far.

Can't help you on the location (we're in L.A.) but their
service is great and has gotten better every year. We've
been using them for about 3 years now and have no
complaints....well, actually I do have one: The last time
I checked, their web interface was all Active X. That
might have been changed by now though...I don't use it
that often.
A couple things I really like about them is that they call
you when a user account has not been used/accessed for X
number of months/days. They want to verify that the
employee who had access to that account should continue to
do so and will give you a call to verify. The other thing
is that you get the same driver to pick up the tapes every
week. You get that "mail man" feeling with him.

At least that's how it is in Los Angeles (Pasadena).

We're considering switching from our current off-site storage provider to
Iron Mountain. It would end up costing us about 25% more than we're
currently paying but we'd get more services than we currently get and would
just be an add on to our parent companies Iron Mountain contract.

Does anyone care to comment on their experiences, good and bad with them?
I'd be particularly interested in comments on the Beaverton, Oregon
(Portland area) office.

Thanks, Dave
