Riaan,

Since only a volume was deleted, the media index itself is still intact and 
does not need to be recovered.  The simplest way to fix this is to use scanner 
-i for the tape volume that was deleted.  Once scanner is complete, follow it 
with nsrck -L6.  This will add the tape volume back to the media index and 
restore all the associated client indexes as well.
