Hi,
We are running into issues with AIX 5.1 and NetWorker 7.1.3, where nsrd is
becoming unresponsive, with the GUI becoming unresponsive first, then
backups slowing. (Also appears with NetWorker 7.1.1 and 7.1.2)
We are working with Legato, and they've seen this in 1 or 2 cases with AIX
5.1 Maintenance level 7, and the resolution they've seen before is to go
back to Maintenance level 5 or older. We've reved back to AIX 5.1 Maint rel
4, and while it is better, it appears to become an issue after a while.
Ulimits are unlimited, max proc per user is set to 512.
My questions:
1. Has anyone hit this, and what was your resolution?
2. Anyone running AIX 5.1 with NetWorker 7.1.3, with 100+ clients doing LAN
backups (GbE in this case), without this issue? If so, what are your
specific revs?
