I am looking at buying a new tape drive and would like to know what you
all think would be best for my environment.

 

Legato Networker 7.1

Win2000 Server with 30 clients (mix of WinNT/XP/2000)

750gb total full backup

Ultra SCSI

10/100 Base T

 

I would prefer 2 drives.

 

I currently have a Mammoth2 and I blow drives too often. I was told it
was because the drive is too fast for my slow network and backhitching
is killing the drives.
