Here is an update folks.

Following discussions with HP, it turns out that the engineering group was
aware of this problem (nice!) and were working on an updated firmware
revision to be released end of January or early February. Well, they sent
me this rev 85 in advance of the public release. Updated all our sdlt-110
and sdlt-320 to rev 85 and we are now able again to read all current and
older backups.

All of you HP users out there, keep your eyes open for formware revision
85 for your sdlt-110 and sdlt-320.
