After using the "verbose" mode on our ExchangeGroup, I was able to get
messages of the form of:

* jcvsf-exchange.jcvsf.corp:MSEXCH:MB Internal system error, please see
nsr\applogs\xbsa.messages on the client system for reason.

For each of the Mailboxes it had tried to backup. This xbsa.messages
file revealed that the account I had used in the Remote User field also
needed to added to the "Remote Access" field for the client. The backup
has now been running for over 3 hours, and hopefully this is it.
