Tony,

We also are waiting on Legato Support to fix the saveset recover problem. We
heard yesterday that they will be fixing the problem in Networker 7.2. It is a
server code change that is needed, not a client code change.

We did get a patch for Networker Server 7.1.2 that allowed us to perform
Netware saveset recovery from Client A to Client A, but did NOT allow us to
perform saveset recoveries to OTHER Netware clients, ie. from Client A to
Client B. This is functionality that exists in Networker 6.1.3.

I am currently awaiting an ETA on the release of Networker 7.2.

FYI some references: LGTpa67830, LGTpa66146

Regards,
Ryan.

Greetings,

Has anybody heard anything from Legato about the apparent incompatiblity
with between Networker and the recently released TSAUP16.exe (there are
reports that Networker fails to load after the update - I have not tried
it myself)?

While poking around Legato's knowledgebase for details on this problem,
I found solution ID legato58762 which states:

"Our software engineer is currently developing NetWorker client for
   NetWare 7.x"

Last I heard they were going to fix the saveset restore issue with
networker 7.x servers and but were still mulling over a full update to
the client. The above seems to indicate they are updating the client.
Anybody have any more information?
