Two issues:
1. In one of your messages you stated that you want to MOVE the data
from the old DLT tapes.
In this case you should use the "nsrstage command"
Assuming you are on Unix the syntax should be something along the
lines:
    nsrstage -s BackupServerName -v -b "DestinationPool" -m -S `mminfo
-s BackupServerName -q "type=dlt7000,AdditionalParameters" -r ssid |
sort -u`
This will for example Move (stage) all your savesets from the
"dlt7000" tapes to the destination pool.
The destination pool can be any pool.
2. If you intend to try and use the nsrclone command you should try:
    nsrclone -s BackupServerName -v -b "DestinationClonePool" Volume1
Volume2 Volume3 ....
You will have to make sure that the DestinationClonePool has been
define as a "Backup Clone" type pool.
Once your cloning completes you should be careful how you handle the
originals!!!
If you recycle or remove the originals from your database you MAY
and PROBABLY WILL remove the new ones too.
HTH,
        Itzik

Thanks Darren

I tried this command. I am getting the following error:

Automatically copying save sets(s) to other volume(s) Starting cloning
operation...
nsrclone: error, bad first fragment
nsrclone: Cannot open nsrclone session with NWserver2 nsrclone: Failed
to clone any save sets

The tape should be OK as I was able to scanner it before.

Assuming ABC001 is a volume, yes. The behavior of what happens with
savesets that span volumes depends on the version of networker.

Older versions will clone the saveset (possibly requiring other source
volumes) regardless of how much is on the volume.

Newer versions will only clone the saveset if it begins on the volume.
(That way if you clone multiple volumes, you don't end up cloning the
same saveset multiple times).

I can't recall which version made the change.

I don't think it would take much longer, but it may depend on whether
the source volumes are multiplexed.

You can also provide nsrclone with multiple savesets on the same line.
That method and volume clones should keep the multiplex on the clone.
If you do lots of individual nsrclones (one saveset per), then you'll
demultiplex them. That can take a long time in some cases (but may be
something you want to do).
