David,
Yes you can, nothing wrong with doing it that way. You will need to
have something connected to your server, though (but I suspect you have another
device as well?).

Subject: [Networker] SAN question

Hi all,

Only a few question:

In a SAN enviroment , is it mandatory that my Legato server have a HBA conected
to the SAN ? It´s necesary that my LEgato Server can see the SAN ?

Can I have the "control port" of library conected directly to my Networker
server by SCSI in a SAN enviroment with 3 Storage Nodes?

Thanks in advance

David
