Hi Rafael,
This error may ocur if the local system account does not have rights
on the drive, so please do the following:

1. Log on with administrator privileges to the NetWorker client host
computer.

2. Using Windows Explorer, perform the following steps for each local drive:
    a. Right-click a drive icon.
    b. In the Properties dialog box, select the Security tab.
    c. Make sure the permissions settings allow full control to the
    System group (system account).

3. Restart the NetWorker services to make the changes of permissions
settings active.

Hi all,

   a costumer's W2K client is experiencing errors when trying to perform
the backup of SYSTEM DB. The Legato server has NetWorker 7.1 Power Edition
running on AIX 5.2.

   The output we get when trying to backup is the following:

* asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ 1 retry attempted
* asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ Removable Storage Database - rsmow: Cannot export the
database: 0x00000005
* asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ Removable Storage Database - Error saving
* asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ save: RPC error: RPC cannot encode arguments
* asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ save: save of SYSTEM DB:\ to escala3 failed
09/16/04 14:49:42 savegrp: asfn1:SYSTEM DB:\ will retry 0 more time(s)

Does anyone have experiencied this kind of errors? Any help will be
appreciated.
