Hmmm, the M1500 and M2500 should not be this hard to work with but
can be.
The one thing you need to do with these libraries is go through the
configuration menu and make sure that any drives you don't have in it are
turn off/disabled in the configuration menu..ie it may think a second
drive is there. You then want to make sure that an inquire and more
importantly an sjirjc 2.2.0 matches what the library is configured as.
ie.. does it show the number of drives and load ports you want? Does
it match the front panel configuration? Bar code support on in the
front panel and sjirjc? You don't want an extra drive reported if
it isn't there.
Since it was working...did a drive assignment move when you switched
controllers? SCSI IDs?...ie. is /dev/rmt/xxx still where it was before.
I think once you go through everything a jbconfig will work.
