You're best bet would be to label a new tape with the mount option. Such
as
nsrjb -L tape_pool -S slot_number -f /dev/rmt/xcbn -m

Subject: [Networker] Stuck on same Slot number: suggest labeling volume
from ...
Hi,
I have a tape stuck in one of my pool of 3 NDMP drives. The tape wasn't
labeled & won't eject so I disabled the drive. But now NetWorker keeps
suggesting over & over:
media info: suggest labeling volume from slot 9 in jukebox Gator on
legato.corp.opsware.com for writing NDMP Pool
nsrjb notice: nsrjb -j Gator -Y -O509 -L -B -m -G -M -bNDMP Pool -S 9
[ad infintum...]
Why doesn't it just give up and move onto the next available tape?
Is there a command I can issue to direct NW to ignore the tape from
Slot 9 (stuck in disabled drive) and move on?
Running NW 6.1.3 under Solaris, in case it matters.
