[Networker] win 2003 problem in SAN enviroment when restarting
2004-08-27 04:16:48
Hello group,
We have a problem when we restart a win 2003 server wich have a Dedicated
storage node on it. The drive names gets switched, and we have to remove the
drives in device manager and scan for new hardware every time. This does not
happend on the win 2000 server (also a dedicated storage node) in the same
san.
Does anyone know of a change in windows that causes this ?
How can we solve it?
Backup server is win 2003 with networker 7.1. 3 SDLT220 drives in a Overland
lib.
win removable storage is disabled on backupserver and all storage nodes.
Thankful for your comments
Hans
