Actually, do you have a lot of groups? Do you have lots of clients per
group? Are you using multiplexing? I recall the validation only occurs
at the end of a tape, or when a drive goes idle.
As such, with multiplexing, it's possible for savesets to start and
complete without hitting that condition. Those savesets would then
presumably not be validated.
This is speculation on my part from how the man pages read.
