Hi Mary-Charles,

We discovered a problem whithin the nsr_shutdown script of neworker
7.1.2
In Situation where the networker was hanging, we were not able to bring
the
networker down (safety) by nsr_shutdown.
We than got a workaround (given from legato) to use the 7.1
nsr_shutdown
version instead and that works.
(There is a hanging for-next loop problem inside the script.)
Otherwise the 7.1.2 version works fine.

I am looking at doing a host transfer of our backup server.  I will be
going from Solaris 8 to Solaris 9 and have Networker 6.1.  Does anyone
have any suggestions as to whether upgrading to Networker 7.1 at this
same time is a good idea?  Or should I stay with 6.1 on the Solaris 9
server, get that working and then upgrade to 7.1?
