I noticed this changed in 6.0.2 to 7.1.2. I've never liked the fact
Networker needs the DNS names and the Windows netbios names in the
aliases fields to work. (In our environment, those are not the same.)
With 6.0.2, you needed the FQDN AD name. With 7.1.2, you need the
hostname-only AD name. As a general rule of thumb, after installing a
new client I load up the nw user program and see what the client thinks
it's named in the lower left corner, and put that in the aliases field
on the server.
