Hi,

I've just installed a SAN attached IBM3584 containing 4 LTO-2 (Fibre)
on a V7.1.2 NetWorker (W2K).

Drive 1 is dedicated to the NetWorker Server and not shared. It also
controls the changer.
Drives 2-4 are shared (DDS).

Drive 2 is shared with a W2K Storage node - works without any problems.
Drive 3 is shared with a Win2003 Storage Node which is a physical node of a
W2k+3-cluster.
Drive 4 is shared with a Win2003 Storage Node which is the other (second)
physical node of this W2k+3-cluster. The cluster itself runs as a
FileServer, no NetWorker modules implemented.

While the storage node on W2K (non cluster) works without any problems,
NetWorker refuses to use the storage node devices (rd=...) defined on
wW2K+3 cluster. All savesets are transfered to "nsrserverhost" via GigaBit-
Ethernet (which should not be the case).

AFAIK DDS is not supported on clusters, but I've seen it working with V6.x.
We do not care about the "high availability support", only want to switch
the drives between the Server and one Storage Node.

Is there some hidden magic in configuring the W2K+3 storage nodes?
Do I miss something? License issues? Anything else?
Where to look at first?

Thanks -Steffen-
