Hi,

You can set it by the pool restriction.
You must write the client name to the Clients field at the pool
configuration.
But You must leave unset the groups and other poll restriction.

The example of the pool config for the manual backup is:

name: Manual
pool type: Backup
label template: Default
clients: NSRclientname1
          NSRclientname2

It is all what You need. When You start the manual backup with Networker
User or with command ( without -b ), it will go to the pool named manual.
I am using it, so it works.

If You want the pool for manual backups from every NetWorker clients which
You have, You can set only field "Levels" to Manual and every other fields
leave unset. ( No group, no clients, no SS )
name: Manual
pool type: Backup
label template: Default
levels: Manual

You can configure it as You need.

regards,
Milos

Hi,
If you do an "ad hoc" save, or, as you said, a manual save from the GUI,
the backup will always go to the pool "Default".
The only way to use an other pool is to initiate the save on the CLI with
the option "-b", example save -l <yourlevel> -b "SE Full" .
regards
Klaus
