Joel,

Yes, yes ... and yes.

I have played with both a 3TB ATAboy and a 10TB ATAbeast and we got pretty
good throughput speeds on both.

We tested the ataboy with SCSI and the atabeast with fibrechannel.

What I havent done is take the next step on checking for myself hwo easy it
is to now do staging / cloning etc.

But the advanced file type device worked really well - I especially tested
running out of disk space and then enabling another partition from the
nexsan's menu, adding the disk and expanding the windows volume on the fly
(windows2000).

No complaints, touch wood ...

Regards,
Riaan

Hey Guys,

I asked a similar question several months ago, but got very little
response. Is anyone using Nexsan ATAbeast or ATAboy disk a target
devices for Advanced File Type devices? How have your experiences been?
Would you buy Nexsan again if you had it to do all over again?

Thanks,

Joel
