No problems, Not a sausage.
By default, the nsr/res/servers ( or \nsr\res\servers file for the Windows
impared), file is empty, which I have reliably told means any networker
server can backup the client. It's not the safest configuration in the
known universe, but it worked for me.
There was no intervention, I set it up as a published machine-level
software installation in my software GPO (after testing it in a test OU),
and the software went in before anyone had chance to logon.
Since installing, I've added one of the clients that received the client
via this method to my NWorker client list, and it's been backing up OK

For those machines that already had it installed, it seemed to upgrade
fine, uninstalling the existing software, and then putting on the package.

BTW I took the MSI straight from the CD, including :

Program files folder
SystemFolder folder
0x0409.ini
instmsiw.exe
NetWorker.msi
Networker.sms (we don't use SMS, but I copied it anyway)
Setup.exe (not used by w2k gpo's. but again I copied it anyway)
setup.ini ( as above )

Regards
Simon

Hi Shaun/Brian,

I've found it works well with win2k GPO's too.
