Did it actually pick and load the tapes that don't have the correct
barcode?  When the tape is picked and read, it should update the barcode
in the media database.

mminfo -q 'volume=<vol>' -r 'volume,barcode'

Run an inventory on the slot explicitly and see if it loads the tape.
