Hi Maaike,
Use mminfo to find the tape(s) containing the files you need to recover.
Load these tape into a tape drive. Next use the scanner command to
repopulate the CFI.

Example,
mminfo -aV -c [client] -N [file system backed up] -ot
mminfo -aV -c nas01 -N /vol/vol0 -ot

scanner -ipv [tape drive]
scanner -ipv /etc/rmt/0cbn

PS - I'm assuming your retention period is longer than one month and the
tapes are located in the tape library.
