Hey, sorry, as soon as I sent this I realized that I hadn't used the update
[attrlist] command. That works fine.

Subject: [Networker] Problem updating resources with nsradmin

Hi--

I've had this problem in the past, but have never been too concerned about
it. Now I'm wondering if any of you have an answer:

When I try to update resources using nsradmin, the procedure often fails,
reporting that the resource id or client id is a read-only attribute. Of
course, I am not trying to change the client id or resource id. Creation
operations complete successfully. For example, today I created a client

Create type:NSR client;name:myclient.whatever

This worked great. Then, I decided to go into that resource and edit the
group membership and retention policy, but when I saved my work nsradmin
reports

update failed: client id is a read-only attribute

Details on the server:

Tru64 UNIX v5.1A
NetWorker 6.1.1 build 428

Sorry if this has been answered previously, I searched for a bit and found
nothing on the archives.
