As an addon to my previous mail
when we look at the status led of the IBM drive we het errror 6 often in
this case. The manual fron IBM that i found on IBM's website states that
furter investigations should be done to see if it is media error or drive
error. I get also less tape hangs if I switch off CDI in the Media -> Device
settings of my IBM drives,
