i had a similar problem with 7.1.1 and win2000, my client indexes for 1/3
of my clients would intermittently disappear and reappear.
legato had me run "nsrim -X", then "nsrck -L7"
that seemed to fix it for me, i dont know if this applies to your issue.

Hi,
I hope somebody can help with this.
We had a problem where when Networker user file index is used. Not all
file indexes appear to be there on different days.
This normally would point to index issues but the problem is intermitant
and sometimes with the same search the index 'magically' appears. We are
using networker 7.1.1 in a windows environment.
Has there been any issues with networker recover on 7.1.1 ?
