Hi Deepak,

Are you using the Legato module for Lotus Notes.

Normally, RPC errors are seen due to improper connectivity between the
backup server and the client server. Properly updating /etc/hosts file at
both the ends and ensuring that the servers are able to ping each other
both by IP address & hostname are the basic things that can help you come
out of the error.

Sometimes, RPC error can come for a particular folder/partition also. This
could be because it trying to backup a file with a very long filename or a
file belongs to a long tree folder which in a way means a long file name to
backup.

This could be checked from the log files as whether the backup stops at any
particular location or it does not start at all.
