Hi, I have a weird problem. We run Networker 6.1.4 on Linux server and
have mixed *NIX and NT clients. NT's run on v6.1.3. Up until recently
it all ran fine, but a few weeks ago one of NT clients started failing
scheduled backups with the following error:
"Cannot authenticate user: The referenced account is currently locked out and may
not be logged on to."
The worst part is that only few of disks on this client fail, and what makes it even
worse - they are not always the same and could be different from one run to another. If
I try to manually re-run it with "savegrp -c foo PoolName" -it works like a
charm, no problems whatsoever.
I checked the system for any changes that could've triggered these failures -
no changes have been made, tried to reset password on both ends - it ran fine
for one night after and failed again on the next run.
What confuses me is that it happens only for scheduled backups and that this NT
client is a part of NT domain therefore it uses NT domain authentication, but
this failures happen to only one client, the others get through just fine.
TIA
Dmitri
