Hello.  I'm not sure about the mmrecov either, but you can definitely
run scanner on the remote storage node.  To recover client and media
indexes from a remote storage node library, I use "scanner -I -s
backupserver -f File# -r Record# -S Saveset# \\.\Tape0" or whatever
drive the tape is in.  The scanner command won't run (if you miss the
call to the backup server (-s option)) from the remote storage node with
the "rd=" name of the drive.

Again it's the problem about where you are running mmrecov from. I don't
believe that mmrecov or scannner understands the "rd=" notation. I'm not
even sure whether you _can_ run mmrecov from a storage node.
