A simple illustration,

database is e.g 2 gb

during the backup of this database (taking lets say 10 minutes, just
hypothetically) 7000 transactions occur or maybe 70000.

Can you tell me if they are in your backup or not in or half in ?

I can't and so also the database system , it will get tremendous confused to
the point of giving up due to internal inconsistencys.

For oracle databases we combine archive logs and once a week cold (offline)
backups. The backup of sunday + each archive log can rollforward to a
consistent state.

We do not use a oracle module. We can afford to go offline once a week. Others
will surely solve it differently.
