The thing I don't understand is that I also have a 5.x Solaris Networker
server, that has only the default group, using custom Full and Incr pools,
and the bootstrap seems to backup to either pool... The full pool has
"Full" checked, others cleared, and the incr pool has all items checked
except for full. Why in the hell does in work on that server ???

I tried to reconfigure my DEFincr pool to accept all levels (all box
cleared), and my DEFfull to accept only Fulls... No luck...

I guess I don't have a choice then... I have to do the "standard" thing
(Server --> Default group --> default pool).

Does anybody on the list have an idea before I give in :) ?

I am going to say the obvious, that since your DEFull is conifgured to
accepts full backups, and the bootstrap is always full, then you will have
this issue; it is working as designed.

If you knew all the savesets that were being backed up on all clients in
the Default group, you could configure the pool with the saveset
information, and then include the saveset "bootstrap" in that config.
This would be very tedious however, and you run the risk of missing
savesets on clients that you did not know about (assuming you are using a
saveset of "all" currently on some/all your clients).
