Does anyone know exactly what these pas-thru drivers do, and what effect on
the backup process w/ using an auto-changer NOT having them installed will
have? I am currently running Networker on HP-UX 11i and backing up to a
Qualstar tape library w/o the pass-thru drivers. HP uses spt. The device
returns UNKNOWN and UNCLAIMED in ioscan output.
