I have a commitment from the senior PM for NetWorker at Legato that this
issue will be resolved in a maintenance release for NetWorker 7.1 -- either
7.1.2 or 7.1.3.   The person I spoke with was Dmitri Joukovski, and the
bug/escalation ID is LGTpa62338.

Has there been any offical word on if Legato is ever going to support
Microsoft ASR with a Unix Legato Server? I don't even care what the
timeline is, just if that there is any statement of direction for
support or if we want ASR we have to convert our legato server to
Windows.
