Or if you don't want to use LLM, which I don't, you can request
LGTpa61446. This is a backport of the fix in 7.1.1 to 7.1 that fixes
NDMP licensing issues when the licenses are entered directly into the
NetWorker Server.

I had the same problem and the LLM workaround DID NOT work for our
environment. After countless hours on the phone with support, they got
me the backport and this resolved the issues.

Cheers,
Jim

I had this problem.

Have you tried to call licensing and have them open up a ticket with
support to resolve this?

Here are my notes.
Starting with Solution ID: legato46700

MAKE SURE YoU DO THIS
1) Remove all NDMP Client Connection License(s) from NetWorker Server
Registration Window in the GUI

2) Register it at command-line of server

Command-line usage:

lgtolic -s <Servername>:390115:1 -c <enabler code>

<servername> is replaced with name of your server <enabler code> is
replaced with your enabled code.

3) Apply auth code

lgtolic -s <Servername>:390115:1 -u <enabler_code> -a
<authorization_code>

<servername> is replaced with name of your server.
<enable code> is replaced with your enabler code.
<authorization code> is replaced with your auth code.

4) From NetWorker Administrator Program (nwadmin) menu:
Server => Server setup Window (view in detail)
(a) Input or add the hostname of the node running Legato License Manager
(b) Update Licenses=YES

then to view licenses (and verify it was added)

command-line
lgtolic -s <servername>:390115:1 -l

Has anyone run into the license issue with 7.1 and NDMP. The workaround
according to Legato is to install the License Manager and load the NDMP
client enablers through the lgotlic command. I have done this but it
still complains I have no NDMP licenses!!!!
