Hi All,

We need to move a NetWorker 6.1.3 server (Windows 2K) from an existing host
to a new one.

Dual CPU, 2.4 GHz, I GB RAM, Intel, Windows 2K, LTO-1 tape library.

We intend to run a savegrp -o onto a clean tape and after this run mmrecov
on the new host, followed by nsrck -L7 to restore each of the client file
indexes.

There are 25 clients with indexes ranging from tiny ( < 1 MB) up to over 1
GB. Total index space is 3.3 GB

I would like to get an idea of how long this is likely to take, to be able
to plan things properly.

Can anyone help ?

Some time later, we will be upgrading from 6.1.3. to 7.1. This involves an
index conversion (as I understand it.)

Any idea how long this might take ?

Thanks for any info.

John Hope-Bailie
